Although a Fortune 500 company over 100 years old, venerable
Gannett lacked name recognition, their 10,000 employees are
also unaware of any brand vision or voice. The insight was to elevate
the brand by endorsing its better know sub-brands. The ‘It’s Within Your Reach”
rebranding also positions Gannett as a company that delivers information to
consumers and innovative marketing solutions to businesses across multiple platforms,
not just newspapers.  Sealing the Triple Play, the rebrand also communicates a
unified brand vision to Gannett’s staff who now understand and relayed
the company’s values and goals.
